April 17, 2013:  Larry presented a half-day institute on mindful movement at Investigating and Integrating Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society: 11th Annual International Scientific Conference for Clinicians, Researchers and Educators, a conference that is hosted by the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

September 6, 2012: Larry was appointed as a Lead Faculty Area Chair of Psychology for University of Phoenix.

Along with Jack Kornfield, Dan Siegel, Tara Brach, Rick Hanson, Sylvia Boorstein, Sharon Salzberg, Shauna Shapiro, and others, Larry recently became a co-author of a book entitled, A Year of Living Mindfully: 52 Quotes and Weekly Mindfulness Practices, May 2012.

Presented at The Arts of Mindfulness and Counseling conference during July 2011 at the El Dorado Hotel and Spa in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

September 2010: Published Qigong for Health and Vitality: The Eight Pieces of Brocade, a professionally produced DVD of an easy-to-learn authentic classical qigong form. 

Taught Qigong at the second annual San Diego Awakening to Mindfulness Conference in La Jolla, CA during March 25-27, 2010. He will teach at the next San Diego Mindfulness Conference during October 2010.

In collaboration with the Integral Health and Training Institute, I was the featured presenter at a workshop retreat in Bali: Integral Health and Wellness: A Mindfulness Approach to Patient Care during July 4-10, 2010.

Published an article entitled, “Cardiovascular Disease and the Mind-Body Connection” in the June 2009 issue of the IDEA Fitness Journal.

Presentations at the  Inner IDEA Conference in Palm Springs, CA during September 23-26, 2010. Inner IDEA is the professional resource for Pilates, yoga, meditation, mind-body wellness, life coaching, and health through its educational materials and annual conference.

Published an article entitled, “Eight Mindful Movements of Qigong” in the January 2009 issue of the IDEA Fitness Journal. Also published a DVD by the same title. 

March, 2009: Assumed role of the Clinical Director of Skyland Behavioral Health Associates, a multidisciplinary behavioral healthcare practice in Asheville, North Carolina.

March 2009: Appointed as a member of the faculty of University of Phoenix Online, teaching Advanced Abnormal Psychology in their graduate psychology program.

Taught Qigong at the Awakening to Mindfulness Conference in La Jolla, CA during April 2-4, 2009. The conference featured leaders in the field of mindfulness and psychotherapy.

Linda and Larry Cammarata presented several workshops at the Inner IDEA Conference during September 11-14, 2008, as recognized leaders in the field of mind-body health and wellness.

Linda and Larry were featured teachers at the world-renowned Golden Door Spa in Escondido, CA during November 23-30 2008, where they presented a program entitled, “Mastery of Wellbeing”.

Appointed as a member of the Certification Committee of Tai Chi Healthways, an organization founded and directed by internationally renowned Tai Chi Master Jesse Tsao.

Larry was designated as an "Author-Expert" by IDEA, for his work, writing, and teaching in the field of mind-body health, fitness, and wellness.
