This workshop is an opportunity to restore your vitality and wellness while cultivating kindness, gentleness, and equanimity within and in the world around you! All proceeds from this event support Asheville Community Yoga’s “Heart of Community” Fundraising Mission 2019.

PLEASE NOTE: Asheville Community Yoga encourages pre-registration for all workshops. Registering in advance guarantees your spot in the class and helps the studio have adequate staffing. This workshop is capped at 28 participants.

Amber Acheson, E-RYT 500 considers herself a student of life first and foremost. Her time spent in the schools of partnership, motherhood, creative endeavor and spirituality have taught her the most about what it means to be fully human. She’s grateful for the tools Yoga has taught her about embodiment, emotional regulation, and connection to a greater source and purpose in life. Amber has been a dedicated yoga teacher for over a decade. Her intention for sharing yoga is to inspire others to find connection, authenticity and empowerment in their own lives for the betterment of all life everywhere. She currently serves as the Director of Teacher Trainings and sits on the Board of Directors at Asheville Community Yoga, a nonprofit organization located in Asheville, NC that strives to make yoga accessible to all. 

Linda Cammarata, RN, RYT and Larry Cammarata, Ph.D. have been teaching mindful movement practices for over 25 years. Linda specializes in the healing benefits of yoga, qigong, and meditation as applied to self-regulation for stress, mood, and sleep management. Her classes are uplifting and supportive. Larry is a clinical psychologist practicing in Asheville, North Carolina who specializes in mindfulness-based psychotherapy and education. His work on mindful movement was presented at the 11th Annual International Scientific Conference of the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine. He is an instructor of Taijiquan and Qigong who has received advanced training in China and in the US. Linda & Larry teach at yoga teacher training programs and lead international mindfulness-oriented retreats through their educational organization Mindfulness Travels. They share a passion for movement, music, travel, and creating community.
